A Party at My Desk

Top view of the party

So yeah, I still have toys. And yes, am still obssessed about pinkys and LEGO, and model kits— Despite my plans on budgeting, I still have at least one new toy every month since I last posted. I just haven’t blogged about it.

Work and life really tend to get in the way, but hey, here I am again.

As to make up for it, here is a view of my work desk with all the new and relatively new toys I got this year.

My New Office Desk Buddies

Edward and Alphonse lounging about

I had a great find while out waiting for a movie with my husband: Ed and Al, chibified! Aren’t they cute? They are from the manga/ anime series Hagane no Renkinjutsushi a.k.a. Fullmetal Alchemist— One of my favorite series in recent history. And here they are little cute figures!

They remind me of the articulated and more expensive Nendoroid Petits, or even the regular sized Nendoroid figures. Actually, if you didn’t know better, you’d actually think they’re from the same manufacturer. And so far, they haven’t released one for FMA yet so Banpresto gets my money this time. Besides, Good Smile Company has already drained my money for making purchase their Figmas.

I sincerely apologize for suddenly turning into mush, but I can’t help it if they’re cute! I don’t think you can disagree on that one.

Here they are lounging about in half of the Japanese Room Nendoroid playset at the corner of my desk. I unfortunately only got half the set.

Edward and Alphonse Elric are from the Fullmetal Alchemist set of Deformation Mania Collection by Banpresto.

The Final Frontier

NCC-1701

Going to the nearest mall today for lunch, there was a bazaar by Toys ‘R Us at the activity center and it was a sale! I quickly checked if their Star Trek stuff are in there, and so they are. I quickly grabbed one Playmates Command Collection Captain Kirk action figure and the U.S.S. Enterprise, a main character in itself.

I finally have a Federation ship on my desk!
