The Genshiken club

Acquiring the Genshiken trading figure set was a pleasant surprise. Complete for that matter. I loved the series as I can relate to it so much, being fascinated with the Modern Japanese Visual Culture: anime, manga and video games.

It’s a rare item nowadays, so am very very lucky. And it’s not so bad that the accessories scale with the Pinky:St girls. Hee. Thankful to my benefactors.

More pictures of the diorama can be found in this tag set.

Little Girl, Big Gun

Henrietta

Never underestimate little schoolgirls.

Henrietta

They might have guns.

Henrietta and Pistol

Henrietta

Henrietta, Gunslinger Girl

She had limited availability and is only available through lottery. The only places to find her now are through eBay and Yahoo! Japan Auctions (and I also saw a couple at Yahoo! Taiwan Auctions a few years back) where prices can go as high as USD200, at least that’s the highest I last saw.

I was lucky enough to acquire her for a reasonable price– Not cheap, but reasonable. An amount I was willing to let go for such a rare item. And I was lucky enough to find a seller that had her in ‘buy it now’ option rather than bidding. And lucky enough as well that said item didn’t have any takers, and the item was listed for a long time already. And for a very expensive girl, she passed through shipping without a hitch!

I’m very very lucky indeed.

Gunslinger Girl Henrietta is a limited P:Chara release.
