Here’s AFA09 in pictures!!!
Day 1: The crowd outside, taking pictures of cosplayers who opted to stay at the lobby for more space. Now imagine this crowd double, even triple the next day.
Rotch pointed out that the Anime Festival Asia 2009 website is finally up and running! So I immediately went to take a look at AFA09.com.
Nostalgia hit me as gratuitous large images from last year’s event, seeing MAY’n, Aniki and the booth pictures. I quickly signed up for the subscription and added their Facebook page and Twitter account as well.
What surprised me and made me squeal when I went to the website was seeing my name (or at least this site’s name) in the marquee of random testimonies from visitors and guests alike.
Unless some other person in the Philippines is claiming to be Inanimate, which I doubt, it really made my day.
I’m just glad November is a bit far off so I can really save up for it! And I yes, I really am itching to go back!
As per the Singapore Tourism Board, the dates for AFA 2009 this year has been confirmed — November 21 to 22.
No guests or any other info have been released yet, but I am itching to go back. Just because of the good deals especially, and also the fiancee is excited as well.
